Please join us for our annual George Washington’s Birthday luncheon. It is always an amazing luncheon attracting more than 100 members from the SAR, various DAR groups and our many civic and patriotic friends and organizations.

In 1754, a 22 year old George Washington became a pivotal figure in the conflict that would become known as the French and Indian War. , Brian Reedy, Site Manager of Fort Necessity National Battlefield in Pennsylvania will speak about the French and Indian War in general, the Battle of Fort Necessity specifically, and how Washington gained valuable war experience and learned lessons in command, politics and the relationship between the colonials and the British that would prove invaluable as he would lead the Continental Army against the strongest military force in the world during the Revolutionary War.
